The CRT publishes all final and default decisions to this website. The decisions can be searched based on keyword, or you can use the “Advanced Search” feature to filter decisions by area of jurisdiction (“Collection”), type of decision, and more. Tribunal members are not bound by previous decisions of the CRT or other tribunals. However, CRT decisions are a useful research tool for understanding the law and how tribunal members have applied it in the past.

Intimate images claims: The CRT doesn’t publish decisions for intimate image protection orders, and isn’t required to. This is because these decisions include sensitive personal information about the participants involved, including their identities. Most decisions under the Intimate Images Protection Act have additional publication bans.
